Expedia has had (see the past tense) Price Guarantee where they have promised to match lower price found on other US based travel sites usually within 24 hours and give you a $50 travel coupon for later use (this coupon used to come without any restrictions then it was $50 off $100 and most recently $50 off $200).
Now, it seems that Expedia has completely killed the Price Guarantee program except the one for hotel prices for Expedia+ members that is valid for up to day before arrival.

Best Price Guarantee is still available on Expedia skins such as Travelocity (access here), Orbitz (access here) and CheapTickets (access here).
Conclusion
When Expedia made the Best Price Guarantee coupon minimum purchase value $200 it effectively killed the program for me.
I guess that Expedia feels that their brand is so strong that they don’t need to offer Best Price Guarantee anymore. Let’s hope that the Expedia skins keep their Best Price Guarantees around. I certainly put them into good use every month!
