Cathay Pacific opened its new lounge at Singapore Changi airport’s Terminal 4 today on October 31, 2017. It turned out that I was the first actual passenger who ventured into the lounge around 4:30AM for the first 6:50AM flight CX650 to Hong Kong.
Anyone who has been to the Cathay Pacific’s lounges in the region such as the ones in Bangkok and Taipei immediately recognizes the same familiar style with few updates.

When you enter the lounge you first stumble into the dining room with the noodle bar.

Conclusion
It is somewhat surprising that Cathay Pacific had decided not to have a bar in their Singapore lounge (not even a self-service one beyond beer/wine/champagne).
The lounge is operated by SATS that also have their own lounge on the opposite side that other airlines probably use their business class and status passengers.
I found the noodle bar menu to be somewhat limited compared to the Bangkok lounge that I frequent quite often. Also needed are more fruit options such as watermelon and pineapple.
