Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Partnership With Air France & KLM Ends On April 30, 2018.


Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan yesterday made a rather quiet announcement that its partnership with two SkyTeam member airlines with whom Delta has very close partnership is coming to an end.

Mileage Plan members will lose partnership with Air France and KLM effective April 30, 2018. Members that have tickets issued on or before December 5 can credit those to Mileage Plan even after this cut off date and get a credit.

Alaska Airlines has lost Delta, AeroMexico, Air France and KLM all within a year while has also gained number of airlines including Finnair and Condor.

Mileage Plan still has impressive number of partner airlines but losing four SkyTeam airlines is a blow considering the size of these carriers.
