Aegean Miles+Bonus program became far more interesting earlier this week once they made partner awards available for online bookings (read more here).
The airline began selling its Miles+Bonus miles at 40% bonus back in November through December 27, 2017. Members can purchase 50,000 miles (before any bonus) during their their membership year.

Decided to try out the purchase and just plugged in my credit card details. The form didn’t even request address information.
The purchase was approved and the miles deposited to my account instantaneously. The price is 1.79 euro cents per mile under this 40% bonus offer.
Email payment confirmation came from Piraeus bank.
Conclusion
Many readers have used Miles+Bonus for relatively easy Star Alliance Gold status as long as they have flown the required four segments on Aegean or Olympic flights every membership year.
Decided to try out the Miles+Bonus award booking interface and made the purchase of these miles, although I cannot say that I would be miles poor. I am sure that it should be relatively easy to burn these miles (at least I hope).
I much prefer programs that allow members to book awards online without having to waste time speaking with agents.
Here are the terms and conditions of this promotion:
- The offer is valid only for award miles purchases that will take place from the 27th of November 2017 up until the 27th of December at 23:59 (Greece time).
- The additional award miles that will be offered as a gift, will be automatically credited upon the completion of the miles purchase.

- All members that will purchase award miles within the above-mentioned dates, they will automatically enter the draw for 100,000 award miles as a gift to one lucky winner. The draw will take place on the 28th of December 2017.
- The miles that will be credited as a gift to the winner of the draw, refer to award miles and will be credited to the Miles+Bonus account of the winner within 15 working days.
- In order for the miles to be credited to the winner, the Miles+Bonus account of the winner must a) be active and b) belong to the participant in the draw.
- The miles that will be credited are for personal use and cannot be transferred to another person, they do not bear any commercial value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Here are the terms and conditions of buying miles from Miles+Bonus:
- Award miles can be purchased by all active Miles+Bonus Members, regardless of their tier.
- Members are eligible to purchase up to 50000 Award miles within their membership year (twelve consecutive months from their enrollment or last tier upgrade/retain).
- Purchase of Award miles cannot be canceled after completion, thus the transaction value is non-refundable.
- Award miles are sold in sets of thousand (1000) at the price of 25.00€ per set.
- Award miles are credited to the Member’s Account immediately after the completion of the transaction.
- Purchase of Award miles can be realized only online, through www.aegeanair.com, after the Member logs in to Miles+Bonus using his/her personal credentials.
- The purchased Award miles are subject to the terms and conditions of Award miles as those are referred to the Miles+Bonus program.
