IHG Rewards Club has been trying to tweak the online booking interface over the past few weekends with disastrous results only to revert back to the tried and tested current one that WORKS.
Now, IHG Rewards Club has changed the online account management interface making it less intuitive, you have to click around two/three times more compared to previous version, and there is simply less functionality.

You could easily see what is going on with your account and expand each activity.
Account activity now:
You get something that takes entire page and you cannot expand any single line to see the activity.
It opens entirely new page.
Previously you could see the status of these promotions. Now you cannot.
Whoever came up with this crappy design must have been paid by the increase in number of clicks and page views unless people just get tired of this garbage and simply book with competitors.
Why some companies come up with these “designs” that are obviously done by folks that don’t travel and use these sites at all? I just don’t get it.
