Marriott Rewards has been updating its website throughout the 2017 and finally switched the version that I would called BETA live in November, but allowed members still access the old legacy website (something that would actually work) using a specific link (read more here).
Now, Marriott has retired the legacy website completely and using the old working website using the backdoor link no longer works. You are forced to use the “new” website that seems to be bringing up mostly errors and seems to forget that you have already signed in every few seconds.

Difficult to understand why it has been so painful for Marriott (or their subcontractors) to get the new website up and running correctly?
I am sick and tired of these never ending error messages and need to sign in on every other page. You would think that hotel company that would prefer public to book directly over OTAs had a working website?
