Hilton Honors 15% Off “Gold Medal” Discount Rate For Worldwide Use

Hilton Honors has interesting rate plan available for worldwide use valid at certain properties that used to be associated with the US and Canadian Olympic Committees (Hilton was a sponsor).

Hilton Honors Changes

The “Gold Medal” rate is open for everyone that would like to support certain sports, and is usually 15% off of the Best Available Rate. It should be fully flexible, although you should always check the rate rules before confirming the booking.

The 15% off discount is calculated off of the Best Available Rate and is available worldwide (United States, Canada, Hawaii, Europe, Middle East, Asia etc) unlike most other discount plans.

This rate plan usually is bit cheaper than AAA or AARP rates. When there are summer or regional sales, those can offer significantly lower rates than this Gold Medal one.

Booking The Rate

You must use the corporate codes below to bring up the “Gold Medal” rate using the Hilton.com rate search (access here).

The following two Gold Medal codes are currently active: 2635167 and 2635191 or 30075. Note that sometimes one works when other doesn’t. You may have to try all three.

Conclusion

Hilton used to have partnerships with US and Canadian Olympic Committees but both of these ended back in late 2016. Direct pages where this rate plan could be booked was soon gone. Seems that Hilton may still have partnerships going with these individual teams, however.

Remember that the MVP plan offers 20% off rates (read more here) but is only available for the Americas, the Caribbean and Hawaii while these Gold ones are available worldwide.
