Conclusion

Lufthansa recently took complete control over Brussels Airlines and the pilots are striking over pay, work-life balance and retirement age.

The strike on Monday is against the airline management where the Wednesday one is more of a general one due to higher proposed general retirement age in Belgium.

Remember that Brussels Airlines is required to provide Duty to Care for affected passengers such as accommodation, food and phone cards in case of long delays and rebook them to their final destination at the earliest convenience.

The strike will affect long-haul flights day before/after of both dates due to crews and planes being out of their usual rotations.
