Etihad Airways has now started to sell access to its arrival lounge that is available for business and first class passenger and select Etihad Guest members free of charge.
The access costs 110 AED that is $30 and Etihad merchandises this by sending out emails to select some passengers.
You can access Etihad’s page for the arrivals lounge here.
Here’s the arrivals lounge information:
I have been to the arrivals lounge maybe twice usually very early in the morning and it has always been very quiet.
It could be worthwhile to pay this fee if you need place to crash for couple of hours or freshen up before a meeting in Abu Dhabi. The lounge itself is neither very big nor especially luxurious.
The airline is currently going through restructuring and cutting routes left and right. Interesting to see what is left once the process is complete.
