Hilton Honors is making the current Double Points promotion (read more here) even better for those that carry one of the co-branded American Express credit cards issued in the United States.
Hilton Honors is offering triple points 10 base + 20 bonus that are in addition to the points that you earn by settling the hotel folio using Amex or any other card.
You can access and register for this promotion on Hilton’s website here.
Note that there is no separate registration for this bonus. You just need to be registered for the double points promotion.
It would be great if Hilton Honors would extend this offer to other con-branded credit cards too (like the one that I have in my wallet). I guess that they try to get people to sign up for their Amex line in the US.
Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:
Triple Points in July for Hilton Honors American Express Card Members.
From July 1st- July 31st, Hilton Honors American Express Card Members registered in the Double Points Promotion will receive Triple Hilton Honors Bonus Points per stay. “Triple Points” means that for each dollar spent using your Hilton Honors American Express Card on stays at a property within the Hilton portfolio during the month of July, you will receive from Hilton 10 Hilton Honors Base Points plus 20 Bonus Points. Hilton Honors American Express Card Members who enroll in the Double Points Promotion will be automatically enrolled in the Triple Points Promotion.
