Hilton Honors launched back in late April 100% buy points promotion that is about to end. The last date to buy under this offer is June 7, 2018.
Members can buy up to 80,000 points every calendar year, although the limit is doubled to select members under this offer to 160,000 before the bonus.

The best use of Hilton Honors points is when the paid rates are through the roof or some of those 5,000/10,000 points properties or lower cat properties that have high paid rates.
Hilton Honors sells points several times a year at 100% bonus or at 50% off. The price of a point purchased during these sales is 0.5 cents each.
I prefer these 100% bonus sales because they allow you to buy more points than the off-ones and especially if your account is eligible for doubled purchase limit.
