U.S. Department of Transportation has issued consent order and fined Icelandair $40,000 for failure to provide refreshments in case of delay longer than two hours.
Icelandair flight from Washington Dulles to Keflavik was delayed by more than three hours in May 2017, but the airline failed to provide any drinks or food during the delay that is in violation of the DOT rules.

Just last month the DOT fined Icelandair $100,000 for failing to reply customer service complaints in a timely manner and now this.
Perhaps the airline should make sure that they are in compliance with all the regulations of the countries that they fly to?
