Fairmont President’s Club ceased to exist on July 1 and Le Club AccorHotels became the program for all former FRHI brands (Fairmont, Swissotel & Raffles) on July 2nd. I wrote about this yesterday (read more here).
I noted that Le Club AccorHotels hadn’t sent out any information for a while for FPC members and the account conversion hadn’t been processed. There was a note on Fairmont’s website that accounts couldn’t be accessed at this time.
You can access Le Club AccorHotels here.
Here’s the text of the email that I received earlier today (the image is above):
Then came this second email:
Not sure how room upgrade that is subject to availability is a VIP treatment?
Had couple of stays this year to earn extra set of certs.
Seems that they haven’t deposited the second set of vouchers yet. Haven’t used any of the Fairmont certs for 2018 yet!
It find ridiculous that Accor lists complete junk here like “Access To The Executive Lounge In Airports” that merely means that you can buy Priority Pass membership and earn some points for it in the process.
Accor’s Le Club AccorHotels program has come long way over the past few years but they should really fix the elite benefits, website and customer service (challenging). At minimum they should offer Platinum members confirmed 4PM check out and breakfast.
I’m eagerly awaiting what will come out of mine LIFETIME FPC Platinum status? The current Le Club AccorHotels one appears to expire on December 31, 2019.
