Marriott Rewards Lifetime Earned Points (Still Available!)

Marriott Rewards has been struggling with its website update (or downgrade) since two weeks ago and one of the casualties was the overlay that showed the number of lifetime points earned.

Marriott Rewards Lifetime Points

There is still a way to access the old website and pull up the display that shows the total number of lifetime nights along with the points earned. You need this information for lifetime status purposes.

You can access the old Marriott interface here.

Note that this method was first detailed on Marriott Insiders post here.

UPDATE: The lifetime nights total is up to date but based on the message that I received from a reader the points total is frozen pre-August 18, 2018.

You need to log in on the above page (use the box on the upper right) but don’t do anything else. You may have to use incognito window to ensure that you don’t have any Marriott cookies in your browser.

Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Upcoming Reservations”.

Marriott Rewards Lifetime Points Old Interface

Then you have the old display and you just click the “Nights”.

Marriott Rewards Lifetime Points Old Interface Shows

You get the overlay that shows the number of nights for the year, lifetime nights and the total number of points earned.

Not sure why Marriott Rewards feels that they need to hide this information on their new website? Members whose goal is to qualify for lifetime status under the legacy Marriott Rewards of nights and points earned need this information.

Members who need this data should take a screenshot of their status as of now. I am 50 nights short of lifetime Platinum Premier status on my Marriott Rewards account (as shown above), but there are nights that haven’t posted.
