LAST CALL: Alaska Airlines Buy Mileage Plan Miles Up To 50% Mystery Bonus Sale Through October 4, 2018

Alaska Airlines has launched back in August a Mystery miles sale at up to 50% bonus that ends today (October 4, 2018).

Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Mastery Bonus

Alaska Airlines is not part of any global alliance but has ties with many airlines for earning and redeeming miles such as Cathay Pacific, Emirates, and Finnair.

You can access Alaska’s web page for buying and gifting miles here.

Note that Alaska Airlines doesn’t limit the number of miles that you can purchase over a calendar year like some other airlines do. They merely have a 60,000 mile limit before any possible bonus per transaction.

Here’s my bonus schedule:

The price of Alaska Airlines miles purchased at the 50% bonus level is 1.97 cents each.

Alaska Airlines miles are useful for partner awards on premium cabins on airlines such as Cathay Pacific. Just make sure that the award availability exists before you purchase the miles.

Mileage Plan miles right now are very good value when flying over the Pacific to Asia and Australia. They just opened up the Finnair awards to Europe and we are still waiting for Aer Lingus ones!
