Hilton is moving to a new loyalty platform this week and their website and call center functionality will be down the entire day on Tuesday (October 30th) which can spillover to Wednesday as well.
Members cannot book, amend or cancel their standard or award reservations during this update period and some other features will be offline as well. Members that plan to stay at Hilton hotels on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week who don’t have their reservations yet, should book them now.

As part of our efforts to continually improve and enhance the guest experience, we are making planned updates to the Hilton Honors platform. As a result, select features will be offline starting October 30, and depending on your time zone, extend into October 31. During this time, the ability to book, amend, and/or cancel standard and redemption reservations will be temporarily unavailable. This includes doing so through our website, mobile app, call centers and hotel systems. Hilton Honors members, non-Honors members and guests with upcoming stays will receive an email ahead of their stay with additional information. Upon completion of these updates, Hilton Honors members can expect to see their Points post more quickly. We also look forward to sharing details of newly enabled user experience improvements as they become available.

Hilton Honors is continuously evaluating the technical systems we use in order to deliver the best experience possible to our members. We are moving to a new platform later this year, and among the many benefits that will be offered, members can expect their Points to post much faster. The transition to a new platform will be seamless and require no action from our members.
This new loyalty platform allows Hilton Honors to post points from stays to member accounts faster, speed up the ability to add partners and/or change program parameters and help more creative campaign bonuses.
Let’s hope that this loyalty platform conversion goes as planned. Members should book their last minute award and standard stays now or cancel the stays that they don’t plan to use.
