Delta Air Lines today announced changes to its Sky Club access policies by effective immediately discontinuing the sale of single visit passes and raising prices for memberships starting on January 1, 2019.

The price of individual membership will increase by $50 to $545 and Executive by $100 to $845. You can purchase both using SkyMiles for 54,500 and 84,500 respectively.

You can access Delta’s page for these changes here.

You have to keep in mind that you can purchase passes to additional guest(s) if you have access to Sky Club through membership or having one of the credit cards. Discontinuance of single visit passes merely means that random folks that would like to pay to access the lounges can no longer do that.

The prices of these memberships are raising to absurd amounts considering that the lounge access comes with certain cobranded credit cards and also with Amex Platinum.
