Last week, we got a word from a reader that the very conveniently located DoubleTree Suites New York Times Square would be closing its doors at the end of November and this was also confirmed by a Hilton spokesperson (read more here).
Seems that the closure is now postponed until the end of January (Hilton informed us) and the reservations have been reopened until January 31, 2019 (last date to check in for a night).
You can access Hilton’s page for DoubleTree Suites New York Times Square here.
Here’s the paid room availability for January/February:
No availability from February 1st.
Here’s award availability for around New Years:
Every other date is available around the New Years besides the December 31st when the paid rates at this hotels are extremely high.
There are often delays in large projects such as this that was supposed to get started already couple of years ago. It is not inconceivable that the hotel closure date may change again. We will keep our readers updated.
