British Airways yesterday launched their campaign for turning 100 this year by selling tickets at 100 GBP each way from London.
There will be couple of different destinations each day going on sale exactly at noon GMT. The 100 GBP price includes luggage + the usual Avios and tier points for economy fares.
You can access BA’s page for this sale here.
Here’s the announcement from BA:
British Airways turns 100 this year and to get its special centenary year underway, as part of its January Sale the airline is offering customers the chance to book a flight from just £100 each-way* to some of its most popular long-haul destinations.
The offer will run on Monday January 21, through to Thursday January 24, with two different destinations up for grabs each day at 12:00pm. Customers logging on to ba.com at midday will be able to buy tickets to destinations such as the USA, Africa and South America.
The two destinations on sale yesterday were New York and Cape Town that brought the BA’s website basically down. Not sure if it would be easier to book these on BA’s app once you know the dates and applicable flights.
The press release states that there will be seats during this 100 GBP sale to destinations such as United States, Africa and South America.
The dates are rather restrictive but you cannot beat the price if you are willing to fly on BA’s economy.
