Regent Hotels Become IHG Rewards Club Participating February 1, 2019

IHG acquired Regent Hotels back in July 2018 and these hotels have appeared on the search already for a while, although you have not been able to earn, redeem or access any possible elite benefits at them.

IHG is opening new Regent hotels in Jakarta and Phu Quoc. The InterContinental hotel in Hong Kong is returning back to its original roots as Regent after renovations sometime in 2021/2022. There might be some other InterContinental to Regent conversions coming our way.

I have requested clarification from IHG what elite benefits we can expect at Regent Hotels and if these are going to be part of Ambassador program. I will keep you updated.
