There are total of 77 pages of changes and 695 hotels will either require more or less points. You have until Friday to book using current award rates at hotels that will move up in category.

Conclusion

You have to keep in mind that IHG does adjustments to number of points required for awards at specific properties throughout the year. These changes are not communicated at all.

147 hotels will require 5,000 points less while 548 will require more. There are no hotels moving up or down more than 5,000 points.

You can make bookings using the current rates until the 25th (not sure why IHG moved the effective date from the 14th). You should have a look at the PDF and where you are planning to travel over the next 12 months and book now if the hotels will require more points come Friday.
