Hilton Honors yesterday launched Points Explorer tool (read more here) that allows members to check the maximum award pricing at their favorite hotels.
We already published the list of hotels (153 total) that require either 5,000 or 10,000 points for an award night (read more here). Now, we have compiled entire award list that is available both as PDF and spreadsheet for sorting purposes.
You can access Hilton’s Points Explorer here.
The points explorer lists and returns prices at other than maximum level as well if the hotel in question has been cheaper at some point in time. The lists that we have compiled have the maximum price (usually the award pricing for a standard room) and the minimum point price at which Hilton has sold it.
Hilton Honors award night distribution per “category”:
Hilton Honors moved away from award categories, but they are still in place regardless.
Hilton Honors hotels per brand:
Hilton Honors is in fact Hampton Inn Hotels & Resorts if you look at the number of hotels under each brand.

Hilton Honors Master Property List (Excel):
We thought that having these published as PDF and Excel makes sorting somewhat easier (and allows us to compare award night pricing changes over the years).
It is always interesting to see the distribution per brand and points required for a free night. Most of the hotel chains consist mainly of “select” service hotels and Hilton is no different. It is easy to have one of the (no service) boxes at every corner of the country or globe compared to full service one.
The point distribution looks rather regular too. The number of hotels requiring 15K, 25K, 35K and 45K points are rather small and leftover from the times when these simply didn’t exist.
