Turkish Airlines has now opened their Bangkok lounge that is available for Star Alliance Gold members or business class fliers on all alliance airlines + Priority Pass members.
A LoyaltyLobby reader sent us few photos and a note about the lounge experience in early morning.
Here’s the note from the reader:
I attach some pictures for you. While I was here at 6:40a to catch and ANA flight (I’m UA*G), they were setting up for flatbread in the rounded open space next to the coffee bar (served from 11a according to staff).
Food and drink selection was not as comprehensive as SQ lounge but better than Miracle or TG. After 11a should be much better.
Place was completely empty when I was there. Decent coffee from the new WMF machine. They have bathroom and 1 shower (inside restroom).
There is also a ‘quiet room’, ‘business center’, and prayer room. Over quite nice, I think I’ll visit again when I’m here in the afternoon.
Location of the lounge:
It is good to have more options in Bangkok for Star Alliance business class and Gold members. The Thai Airways lounge options are less than stellar.
I won’t be flying out from Bangkok next until early April and will check out the lounge at that time.
There are Singapore Airlines and EVA lounges in Bangkok available for Star Alliance fliers in addition to those Thai ones that you should avoid if possible and plenty of Priority Pass ones. I tend to find myself most often at the EVA lounge.
