World Of Hyatt Website / Mobile App Now Have A New Design & Additional Functionalities

Hyatt has revamped their World of Hyatt website as well as their mobile app with additional features that give the member more browsing and information options.

The display now tracks progress towards milestone and qualification hurdles for the membership year and by clicking on the icons it’s possible to look up the details for these events.

All in all it appears that Hyatt is really trying to improve in the way their IT works and the amount of downtime has decreased dramatically from what it was in the past.

You can access the Hyatt website here.

Speaking for Globalist members the milestone at 20 nights is useless as it deposited 2 Club Access Awards into the account which are pretty much redundant as Globalist has universal club access.

The next ones: 30 / 40 / 50 are indeed useful though, plus of course the re-qualification at 55 nights.

The Mobile App now has a large list of status benefits and by clicking on them individually it’s possible to look up details of the respective benefit option listed:

Furthermore the list of brands has been expanded and is now showing the brands which Hyatt acquired / incorporated in the last few months.

From this list it appears that the new brands will also count towards the free night Brand Explorer promotion where you can earn one free night for every 5 brands you stay at. It’s pretty hard to get ten brands, as Miraval, Ziva and Zilara and Unbound aren’t exactly easy to come by. The new brands make it a little bit easier to fill up these badges.

At the moment both the website and app work without any problems for me. The recent updates are decent in terms of design and Hyatt did a good job here (for once).

With the attractive Milestone Awards and current promotions, I won’t have a problem re-qualifying for Globalist this year especially with the additional qualifying nights by the credit card.
