Conclusion
IHG used to have plenty of offers such as this but they have become increasingly rare in the recent past. Some members in the past also put their accounts in danger by successfully registering too many of them simultaneously.
Glad that IHG Rewards Club still has these one off promotional points offers around. They should offer more points than 2,000 though.
