Hilton Honors back in February launched a Points Explorer tool (read more here) that allows members to check the maximum award pricing at their favorite hotels.
We published yesterday list of all Hilton affiliated hotels at 5,000 and 10,000 points per night (read more here) yesterday. Now, we have compiled entire award list that is available both as PDF and spreadsheet.
You can access Hilton’s Points Explorer here.
The points explorer lists and returns prices at other than maximum level as well if the hotel in question has been cheaper at some point in time. The lists that we have compiled have the maximum price (usually the award pricing for a standard room) and the minimum point price at which Hilton has sold it.
Hilton Honors award night distribution per “category”:
Hilton Honors moved away from award categories, but they are still in place regardless. There are very few hotels requiring 15K, 25K, 35K and 45K points per night.
Hilton Honors hotels per brand:
Hilton Honors is in fact Hampton Inn Hotels & Resorts if you look at the number of hotels under each brand.
Hilton Honors Master Property List (PDF):
Hilton Honors Master Property List (Excel):
We thought that having these published as PDF and Excel makes sorting somewhat easier (and allows us to compare award night pricing changes over the years). This list now consists of 5,775 hotels compared to 5,508 in April and 5,310 in February. We will, in the future, breakdown the US by State.
I have always found the brand and points distributions interesting. The bread and butter business of all these hotel chains is basically select service hotels and Hilton is no different.
