Aer Lingus became Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan partner back in April 2018 (read more here) and members were was promised the ability to redeem “soon”.
Alaska Airlines has finally made Aer Lingus flights available on its award search late last night and just sent out an email blast to members about it.
You can access Alaska’s page for partner airlines here.

Here are some searches that I executed:
Dublin – Frankfurt
I had a look at several dates and the earlier flight always was 15K while the later flight was 30K.
Dublin – London
There appears to be great variability in pricing between this city pair. You can book it at 8K, 15K or 30K on the same date.
Dublin – Seattle
Partner business at 280K is just simply utterly ridiculous.
Dublin – Toronto
This is reasonable considering the low fees.
These Aer Lingus awards can be reasonably priced in terms of number of miles required and cash as there doesn’t appear to be fuel/carrier fees (aka scam surcharges). The number of miles required at times (280K for one-way business) is ridiculous.
Good to have more options to redeem Mileage Plan miles online. When do we have access to Singapore Airlines awards?
