This is the first year when your night count towards the status may differ from the counter towards the Milestone Bonuses.
You can access Hilton’s page for your status here.
Progress towards 2020 status:
You can qualify for Hilton Honors status based on stays, nights or money spend. The nights count here is not the one used for the milestone bonuses because it includes the rollover ones from 2018.
The tracker on the website shows the number of bonus points earned at the next threshold.
On the app, however, it shows the CUMULATIVE number of bonus points earned at 40, 50 and 60 nights.
40 nights = 10,000 bonus points
50 nights = 10,000 bonus points (20,000 cumulative bonus)
60 nights = 10,000 bonus points + 30,000 extra (60,000 cumulative bonus)
You earn additional 10,000 bonus points for every night consumed at 70, 80, 90, 100 nights and so on.
These Milestone Bonuses nicely rewards members that spend more nights with Hilton Honors than what is required for the Diamond status (can basically earn with 30 nights if your stays are always one night long).
The tracker online what somewhat confusing earlier this year (read more here and here) when it counted the rollover nights from 2018 that are excluded from the bonus. I should earn the first rollover bonus this year in couple of weeks’ time.
