IHG Rewards Club yesterday launched (read more here) their latest Accelerate bonus points offer called (this time) Make Every Stay Count.
Well. There does appear to be an issue when some members try to reg register for it. The bonus displayed is only 1,000 points for one stay during the entire promotional period and this cannot be right.

IHG has had issues with these Accelerate promotions previously when the web address has been activated before their individual promotional offers have been prepared. Sometimes they have disabled the registration or even taken the page offline.
If your offer is like the one below, I would try again in a week. I am almost certain that there is better offer waiting them:

Conclusion
IHG seems to be often surprised when they put the page live while their backend is not quite ready yet. I have never seen an a complete Accelerate offer that would only award 1,000 points during the promo period. This just cannot be right.
In case that your offer was only 1,000 points, I would advice you to check the page again in few days time.
