Hilton Brussels City Exits Hilton System To Become IHG’s Indigo

A LoyaltyLobby reader sent us a note about a warning that Hilton has up on its website for those trying to book Hilton Brussels City hotel in Belgium.

The warning states that the hotel ceases to exist as Hilton on November 3. The hotel joins IHG system as Indigo Brussels the following date November 4, 2019.

It seems that they have merely brushed off the Hilton branding from the photo they use on IHG.com.

Conclusion

The Hilton Brussels city is housed in the same building as Crowne Plaza Brussels – Le Palace. I could swear that I have stayed at this Hilton hotel previously (I have stayed at the Crowne Plaza at least twice), but couldn’t find a video of a room/suite from our YouTube channel.

Not sure what is the reasoning behind this brand change. Overall, I would say that Crowne Plaza brand requirements are tad lower than those of Hilton.
