Latvia based airBaltic, a low cost carrier, has launched a status match campaign into its own frequent flier program called airBaltic Club.
Members from select Northern European programs can match their status by sending an email with copy of their frequent flyer card and account statement to airBaltic.

Here are the airlines that Air Baltic matches:
- Finnair Plus (Gold, Platinum and Platinum Lumo)
- SAS EuroBonus (Gold, Diamond)
- Lufthansa Miles&More (Senator, Hon Circle member)
Email your PINS number with a copy of your frequent flier card from on the three programs above with an account statement to: email@example.com.

If you are flying to/from/through the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia & Lithuania), you will likely be presented plenty of options flying on this airline.
They are “hard” low cost carrier meaning that fares are cheap but yhe prices for add-ons, at least whenever I have had a look at them, have been ridiculously high.

Status match for the airBaltic Club VIP card is available for Finnair Plus (Gold, Platinum and Platinum Lumo), SAS EuroBonus (Gold, Diamond) and Lufthansa Miles&More (Senator, Hon Circle member) status owners.
Status match is limited to once-per-lifetime per account.
Status match is only offered to members who have achieved elite status through actual flight miles or segments in another airline program.
Verification and approval may take up to two weeks. The frequent flyer will receive a welcome e-mail once their status match is approved.
