British Airways Executive Club Double Avios For Up To 10 Flights Through June 30, 2020

British Airways has launched new promotion for Executive Club members to drive bookings whilst still having an unresolved dispute with its pilots.

British Airways Executive Club Double Avios September 2019

Members can earn double Avios for up to ten flights between September 18 – June 30, 2020 that are booked after registering for this offer or by December 13.

You can sign up for this offer on BA’s website here.

Note that the double Avios only apply for the BASE Avios earned for the flight before any cabin pr elite bonus.

Qualifying flights for double Avios:

  • A Qualifying Flight is a flight with a British Airways prefix on any selling class or cabin on any British Airways operated service (excluding Reward flights or upgrades using Avios) or any flight included as part of a British Airways holiday and any flight with a British Airways prefix on a transatlantic flight operated by British Airways (BA), American Airlines (AA), Iberia (IB) or Finnair (AY) between Europe and North America.
  • The promotion also applies to travel on domestic flights within the UK, and within southern Africa (operated by Comair), Sunnair and CityFlyer.

Conclusion

It shouldn’t have come as a surprise that BA would run an offer such as this to get more bookings from Executive Club members by offering more Avios.

I like the fact that this offer has almost three month long booking period and it is valid for flights through the end of June 2020. I may end up earning these bonus Avios for a trip that I would have taken regardless of this offer.
