Most hotels offer significant discounts for travel sector participants such as agents and airline employees. Marriott is no different.

Marriott Airline Leisure Program allows employees from select airlines to book their hotels at discounted rates using promotion code Z31.

It is unclear whether this is a qualifying rate plan under Marriott Bonvoy. Just combed through the ever more confusing T&Cs that provide conflicting info (not a surprise). Crew rates are not eligible but this is a leisure rate, as the name suggests, and most of them are valid for status benefits and points.

Something to keep in mind if you happen to work for any of the above mentioned airlines. There is another business breakaway rate plan (read more here) that is valid on quite a few large corporation employee leisure travel and qualifies for points.
