The InterContinental Amstel is an emblematic and historic building in the banks of the Amstel river in Amsterdam. Built in 1866 and renewed through the years, this property now offers 55 rooms and 24 luxury suites, including this royal suite, their largest and most luxurious suite that sells for about 6,000€/night.

This property is just gorgeous, with a classy concept of luxury that will never go out of fashion. This royal suite is not included on the InterContinental Ambassador specialty suite exceptions list, which means in theory that 1- (for Ambassadors) or 2-category upgrades (for Royal Ambassadors) are an option. Executive rooms are available for 60,000 points per night, which is a great redemption value.
