GHA Discovery Double Elite Qualifying Nights October 1 – December 31, 2019

Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) is a collection of independent hotels and chains that use Discovery-program for their loyalty.

Now, GHA has launched new offer for double elite qualifying nights for stays consumed between October 1 – December 31, 2019.

You can access this offer on GHA’s website here.

Conclusion

You have to keep in mind that you don’t earn points or free nights with GHA’s Discovery at all. You merely can get some Local Experiences Awards (pretty much useless and of very little value) for staying at number of their brands.

They do, however, offer status and recognition benefits that can be quite useful at higher end participating brands such as Kempinski.

Here are the terms and conditions of this double nights offer:

  • Must be a DISCOVERY member to participate. Not a member yet? Click here to join DISCOVERY

  • Members must register to participate in ‘Double Nights’ promotion. Eligible reservations must have stay dates between 1 October 2019 and 31 December 2019

  • Ineligible rates are not included

  • Double night credits count toward DISCOVERY tier status only and will not count toward additional rewards at specific brands (ex: night credits do not count toward Free Nights at Omni Hotels) or Local Experience awards.

  • Member must register for the ‘Double Nights’ promotion in order to qualify for Rollover benefit

  • Members must be at Black level by 31 December 2019 in order to qualify for Rollover benefit

  • Members must have earned a total of at least 31 eligible tier nights between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2019 to qualify for Rollover benefit. Please note that “2018 Rollover Nights” (bonus nights rolled over from 2018) are not included in the 2019 Total Eligible Night count for this Rollover campaign.

  • All eligible tier nights earned between 1 October 2019 and 31 December 2019 (campaign period) which then allows the member to exceed the 30 eligible tier nights for 2019, minus any 2018 ‘Rollover Nights’, will be considered for the Rollover benefit. Example: (Example 1: A member who has earned 30 eligible tier nights by 1 October 2019 and then earn 4 eligible tier nights during the campaign period will roll over 4 eligible tier nights to 2020. Example 2: A member who has earned 28 eligible tier nights by 1 October 2019 and then earned 4 eligible tier nights during the campaign period will roll over 2 eligible tier nights to 2020. Example 3: A member who has earned 26 eligible tier nights by 1 October 2019 and then earned 4 eligible tier nights during the campaign period will not roll over any points to 2020.)

  • Accrued 2019 ‘Rollover Points’ will be reflected on customer account in January 2020.

  • DISCOVERY membership, earning and redemption are subject to the programme terms and conditions

  • Subject to availability
