Climate change activist group Extinction Rebellion plans to disrupt air travel this week, Thursday to Saturday at the London City Airport (LCY).
The group has been demonstrating in London causing some disruptions in the city center. The planned activities at the London City Airport are set to start at 9 AM on Thursday.
Here’s an announcement from London City Airport:
Advice for passengers travelling this Thursday, Friday or Saturday: We are aware of Extinction Rebellion’s threat of protest at London City Airport and are working with @metpoliceuk to ensure the safety and security of our passengers, as well as minimising any disruption 1/2 pic.twitter.com/POItFpHYTW

Passengers traveling to/from London City Airport should keep this potential disruption in mind, although Extinction Rebellion’s last planned event at the London Heathrow didn’t lead to any flight delays or cancellations.
Many don’t agree with the methods that this group uses even when they support the underlying cause.
