World Of Hyatt Points To American Airlines AAdvantage Miles 25% Conversion Bonus Through November 28, 2019

American Airlines had a conversion offer from number of hotel loyalty programs earlier this fall (read more here) that didn’t include World of Hyatt.

Now, World of Hyatt points to AAdvantage miles conversions will get a 25% bonus from American Airlines if done by November 28, 2019.

You can convert points to miles on Hyatt’s website here.

Here’s how Hyatt’s points to miles conversions work:

World of Hyatt points convert to miles at 2.5:1 ratio (with some exceptions). When you convert 50,000 points, there is an additional miles bonus of 5,000 from Hyatt.

You can convert 50,000 World of Hyatt points to 25,000 AAdvantage miles before the additional 25% bonus from AA. You get 31,250 miles in this instance.

Conclusion

Converting hotel points to airline miles is not usually the best way to use them. Although there can be exceptions at times.

I wouldn’t rush to convert World of Hyatt points to AAdvantage miles unless you have excellent use for them and don’t need complimentary hotel nights.
