Thai Airways opened its long-awaited Royal Orchid Prestige lounge at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport the other week (October 21, 2019), and I tested it out on 30th.
The new lounge is much better than any of the existing Thai Airways lounges at the airport sans perhaps the first-class one. The new one is open for business and first-class passengers, as well as for Star Alliance Gold members flying in economy.
You can access Thai Airways here.
Here are some photos I took:
You have a reception desk and can choose to go sit down on the smaller area on the left or far bigger on the right.

The cook still needs to work on the eggs benedict.
You can find the list of all lounges at Suvarnabhumi above.
This is a really big lounge for Thai Airways at the D-gates in between A/B/C and E/F/G fingers/gates, and inline what other Star Alliance airlines have at their bases.
I tend to go either EVA or Singapore Airlines lounges when flying on Star Alliance-flights ex-Bangkok. The existing Thai Airways lounges have been in such a bad shape furniture, food, and beverage wise that there has been absolutely no reason to visit them (if you didn’t know better).
