Hilton appears to be left with no hotels in Abu Dhabi, the capital of United Arab Emirates, come December 19, 2019, when Capital Grand exits the system.
The iconic Hilton Abu Dhabi was rebranded as Radisson Blu last year, and Hilton Baynunah left the system years ago (stayed there once).
You can access Hilton Capital Grand’s website here.

Here’s a copy of the email that the hotel has sent out:
As a valued customer of Hilton Capital Grand Abu Dhabi, we wanted to inform you that the hotel will no longer be part of the Hilton portfolio from December 19, 2019. As a result, stays booked past this date will not accrue Honors points. We appreciate your loyalty to Hilton and will be contacting you individually over the coming days in order to discuss your booking. In the meantime should you have any queries please contact res.capitalgrandabudhabi@hilton.com
Conclusion
Hilton Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, both old and iconic hotels in the UAE, were rebranded as Radisson Blu’s. It is interesting to see under what brand this Hilton Capital Grand will “reborn” on December 19, 2019.
Hilton needs to work with developers to have a hotel(s) in the capital city of the UAE. Capital Grand was a solid hotel under Hilton, and I stayed there at least twice.
