Hilton Honors has upped its Honors discount for the holidays that allows members to save up to 17%.
Members save anywhere from 7% to 22% by booking in advance (I assume that the 2% extra discount is factored in).

Note that there are two rate plans for stays in the Americas that yield similar savings and don’t usually require advance purchase.
Hilton offers popular 20% off rate plan for stays in the Americas (North, Central & South), the Caribbean, and Hawaii.
Hilton Honors has 15% off Gold Medal rate plan for worldwide use.
There is a way to “transfer” Hilton Honors prepaid & noncancelable reservation to another hotel in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean by paying a reasonable fee.
Hilton Honors don’t usually have Cyber Sales around the Black Friday or Cyber Monday, but rather sales throughout the year like the one starting next week for stays in Asia Pacific

Valid for current Hilton Honors™ Members only. Honors Discount Advance Purchase is subject to availability at participating hotels and resorts in the Hilton portfolio for up to two rooms per member and must be booked directly through Hilton owned booking channels, including Honors.com or any Hilton Reservation call center. Payments for bookings at Advance Purchase/Non-Refundable rates are not refundable and bookings may not be modified. Each hotel has specific booking terms and conditions that vary and might include length of stay requirements, day of week restrictions, deposit requirements and blackout dates. Price quoted applies to exact date(s)/nights/stay booked. Modifications to your reservation (including but not limited to name changes, date changes, etc.) are not permitted. However, for bookings in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, a request to cancel an existing Honors Discount Advance Purchase reservation and book a new reservation may be permitted if at the time you are requesting a change to your reservation, you book a new Honors Discount Advance Purchase reservation at any hotel in the Hilton portfolio located in the United States, Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean, subject to availability. For a cancellation and rebooking to be considered, you must call our Advance Purchase Department to request a change to your reservation at (800) 236-7113 or (972) 726-3361 no less than three days prior to your scheduled check-in date. Upon receipt of full payment for the new reservation, Hilton will issue a refund for the cancelled reservation, less a service fee. It may take up to four (4) weeks for the refund to be reflected on your credit card. For stays originally booked at the Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, Hilton, Curio, Canopy, Tapestry, Tru, Embassy Suites or Doubletree brand hotels, the service fee is $50.00 and for stays originally booked at a Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton, Homewood Suites and Home2 Suites, the service fee is $25.00.
