Bek Air flight Z9 2100 that was operated by Fokker 100 airplane went down shortly after takeoff in Almaty early Friday morning. The airplane was on-route to the capital Nur-Sultan.
There are media reports that anywhere from 7 to 15 passengers/crew members would have died and several injured. There were 95 passengers and 5 crew members on this flight.

Conclusion
There have been few accidents with fatalities this year including Aeroflot and Ethiopian. Let’s hope that 2020 is a better year for air passengers.
