Pegasus Airlines Plane Splits Half After Skidding At Landing In Istanbul

Pegasus Airlines flight PC2183 operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft that was landing at Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) earlier today skid off and was split in half.

The plane was carrying a total of 183 passengers and crew members of which one is deceased. There are close to 160 injured passengers.

Here are some Tweets that show the plane on the ground:

Shockingly, there is only one deceased person, reported at the time of writing this, looking at the state of the aircraft on the ground.

It was raining at the time in Istanbul, but obviously, someone made a bad call of trying to land, or there were other errors made.
