Hilton Honors today announced on the Chinese social media platform (WeChat) about policy exceptions for Greater China (Mainland, Macao, Hong Kong, and Taiwan).
Members whose status was going to be downgraded on March 31 will have it extended through March 2021, and those that qualified in 2019 will have it until 2022. Points expiry is also waived through the end of 2020.
You can access Hilton Honors here.
Note that Hilton Honors will process these extensions by March 31, 2020. The offer is valid for members whose address on file with Hilton was at any of the Greater China addresses as of February 19.

Hyatt (read more here), IHG Rewards Club (read more here), and now Hilton Honors have membership extension policies in place for members in Greater China (and Hyatt includes entire Asia and members that often travel TO Asia).
The only big hotel loyalty program that hasn’t made their announcement yet is Marriott Bonvoy. It would surprise me if they DON’T have something similar in the works.
