KrisFlyer miles expire 36 months later after they were earned/deposited to your account. You can extend expiring miles once for six months for a modest payment (I have done this).
Singapore Airlines will now extend miles that are expiring in April, May, June, July, and August by six months.

The best course of action, in my opinion, would have been to extend all miles expiring in 2020 by a minimum of 12 months.
It is unclear at this time when we all can travel again, which is greatly dependent on when travel restrictions and bans are lifted.
I have found KrisFlyer miles to be useful for Singapore Airlines’ flights but not so for Star Alliance ones due to terrible booking interface and pricing.

How can I view the extended validity of my KrisFlyer miles?You can log in to your KrisFlyer profile on singaporeair.com or the SingaporeAir mobile app and click on Miles > Miles Validity. There will be a monthly breakdown of your miles expiring in the next 12 months.At the end of each month, you will be able to see 2 transactions in your account statement. The first transaction will show expiring miles being debited from your account with the description “Service debit for 6 months mileage extension”.
