W Maldives is a luxurious private island resort situated in the North Ari Atoll. It takes 1.5-hour speed boat ride or a 25-minute sea plane transfer from Male International Airport to Fesdhu Island, occupied exclusively by the resort. The island, with its expansive and beautiful lagoon, enables the resort to feature 50 over water villas and 30 beachfront villas. The resort’s spectacular villas and guest facilities incorporate a unique blend of Maldivian island village design, together with the contemporary W design features for which the brand has become world-renowned.
Here’s some official pictures and the property’s description of their Vice Presidential Suite:
Wow’s the word for this villa. Repose in the master suite with W signature bed, sitting area with 50-inch Plasma TV and views to the horizon. Or chill in the suite with two signature W twin beds, private second bath and entertainment area with 32-inch LCD screen and cozy fittings.
Lounge or dine in the indoor / outdoor lounge with comfy couches and a huge adjoining sundeck. Head down the lagoon access stairs and float in the tranquil sea. Cook your own catch-or-the-day on the BBQ pit at special request and pair it with a bottle of the best from your private wine fridge. Take in the sun or stargazer on the daybed. Float and swim in the oversized infinity plunge pool.
Here is our video review and commentary on this villa:
WOW is the perfect name for this villa. Both the interior and exterior spaces are perfectly set. In love with the massive bathrooms and bathtubs with a view. And that welcome amenity!
Staying at this spectacular villa ain’t cheap! Just checked for a random date in January, their high season, and this room is available for 500,000 points or $3,500++ per night! If you’re not that points rich, their base rooms go from 75,000 to 100,000 points per night!
In case you missed it!
