Nordic Hotel Pass – My Summer Treat
- You can buy ten nights for a set price of 8,000 SEK ($830).
- You can use these nights at any of the participating Hotel Pass properties during the promotional period.
Nordic Hotel Pass – Unlimited Nights
- You can consume an unlimited number of nights for a set price of 25,000 SEK ($2600).
- You can use a maximum of 5 nights at the same hotel continuously (need to break).

The Unlimited Nights pass makes sense over My Summer Treat only if you intend to stay more than 30 nights at the hotels above during the stay period.
What I like is that you can check the availability before committing to this deal and can immediately make the bookings too.
This is an attractive package, and I wonder why other hotel chains haven’t launched something similar? They could tie it to the award availability due to not owning the hotels, but they could sell reward nights in advance.
Sweden is open for everybody, and Denmark just opened for Nordic country residents and Germans traveling to see their friends and relatives. Norway is planning to stay closed until August, but let’s see if they end up opening earlier.
Although I am a Finn, I am not 100% sure what is going on with Finland at the moment? I would assume that it will perhaps open for other Nordics outside of Swedes soon.
Here are the terms and conditions of these two packages:
1.1 These terms and conditions apply between you and Nordic Choice Commercial Services AB, org.no 556106-6050, (“Nordic Choice Hotels”) when purchasing Nordic Hotel Pass – My Summer Treat and Nordic Hotel Pass with Unlimited Nights, they will continue to be called hotel passes at www.nordicchoicehotels.se (the “Website”).
1.2 By purchasing the hotel passport on the Website you agree to these terms.
2.1 Payment of the hotel pass can be made through any of the payment methods presented on the Website. When paying for the hotel pass, the payment terms that apply to the Website apply to the extent that these terms are not otherwise stated.
2.2 The hotel pass has a fixed price of SEK 8,000 / SEK 25,000.
2.3 When the purchase is completed, the hotel pass will be sent to the e-mail address you provided in connection with the purchase.
3.1 The hotel pass is valid until August 16, 2020. When the validity period has expired, the hotel pass can no longer be used. Value not used at the end of validity period expires. It is not possible to extend the validity of the hotel pass or exchange the value for cash.
4.1 Bookings are made on booking pages which you get a link to after purchase.
4.2 If you book one night at a discounted price on the booking page without having a hotel pass when you check in at the hotel, you pay the current daily price for the room.
4.3 You can re-book and cancel a stay up to 10:00. 16:00 on the day of arrival.
4.4 You can only have one hotel room booked per night.
4.5 The hotel pass is personal, the booking must be in the owner’s name.
4.6 The owner of the hotel passport may bring a guest to stay in the same room if the room is booked for two people. If rooms for more than two people are desired, an extra bed fee and possibly a larger room where the extra bed can be accommodated. Extra bed needs need to be written in the box for special requests when booking. The extra fee is paid on site at the hotel.
5.1 This offer is valid for Standard or Moderate rooms for up to two people. Upgrades and other additions are available at an additional cost.
5.2 The hotel pass is used to pay hotel nights booked on the hotel pass booking page. The value of the hotel night is deducted at check-in at the hotel.
5.3 The hotel pass is personal and can only be used by the person who owns the hotel pass. The hotel may require proof of identification.
5.4 The hotel pass cannot be used to buy other gift cards.
5.5 You can stay as much as you want, but need to book a room via the hotel’s booking page before arriving at the hotel. Cancellation is made no later than 16.00 on the day of arrival.
5.6 You can stay a maximum of 5 consecutive nights in the same hotel.
5.7 Cancellation of hotel night must be done on the website.
6.1 You earn 25,000 bonus points when you buy Unlimited Nights. Enter your membership number when purchasing. The score is last registered on the last date of the offer (16 August, 2020).
6.2 This offer does not include membership benefits, such as upgrading.
7.1 When purchasing a hotel pass, we will process the personal information we need to be able to fulfill our obligations under these terms and for payment by card to be made. When purchasing a hotel pass, we will process your email address, your name and certain payment information.
7.2 Nordic Choice Hotels handles your purchase of hotel passes in collaboration with GiftUp. When purchasing a hotel passport, your personal information will be transferred to GiftUp in order to enable the use of the hotel passport in accordance with these terms.
8.1 If you are a consumer, a 14-day cancellation right applies when purchasing a hotel pass through the Website. Withdrawal means that you can cancel your purchase of a hotel passport without having to give reasons, as long as it has not been used. Upon successful use of the right of withdrawal, your purchase of the hotel pass will be refunded. The right of withdrawal must be exercised within 14 days from the date the card was purchased.
8.2 The right of withdrawal does not include hotel, restaurant or spa bookings made through the Website.
8.3 Contact our Customer Service if you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
9.1 Hotel passports that have been erased by mistake may be replaced in certain circumstances. Contact Customer Service to explore this opportunity.
9.2 Nordic Choice Hotels is not responsible for information on the hotel passport coming to the knowledge of third parties or for unauthorized use of the hotel passport. You agree to notify Nordic Choice Hotels without delay if you suspect unauthorized use of the hotel passport.
9.3 In the event of unauthorized use of the hotel passport, Nordic Choice Hotels reserves the right to lock the passport and charge the buyer for costs incurred as a result of the unauthorized use.
9.4 In the event of a conflict between these terms and other terms, these terms shall take precedence over the purchase and use of the hotel passport.
9.5 Swedish law shall apply to these conditions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be settled in the Swedish public court unless mandatory rules for consumer protection provide otherwise.

If you need an extra bed, an animal-friendly room or the like, you can usually be solved if you contact the hotel directly. Then additional costs will be added.
Children are warmly welcomed at our hotels! If you have up to two children (up to 9 years old) then they stay free when sharing a bed with their parents.
For children over 9 years you need to book extra bed. An extra bed costs from SEK 250, depending on the hotel you are staying at.
There may be an additional cost if you need to move to a larger room, where the extra bed will fit. The size of the rooms differs depending on the hotel.
Of course, pets are welcome. If you bring your furry friend, there is an extra charge that is paid on site at the hotel. Exactly what the cost is for can vary between different hotels, but it is about SEK 250 / stay. It is important that you inform the hotel at the time of booking so that you will be cared for in the best way.

It can differ between different hotels. Generally, it includes gym and relaxation at all Comfort Hotel, Quality Hotel, Clarion Collection Hotel and Clarion Hotel. But feel free to contact the hotel you want to stay at, if you want to be absolutely sure to use the gym or relax.
Yes, you can stay at our hotels throughout the Nordic region. Even in Vilnius, Svalbard and Helsinki! But remember to follow the authorities’ recommendations for travel this summer.

When you check in, you tell the receptionist that you have a Nordic Hotel Pass and announce the unique code that applies to your hotel pass. Then the staff will see that your booking is correct and you will be checked in as usual.
