What is an “eligible stay”?

An “eligible stay” for the purpose of this Promotion is defined as one or more consecutive nights at the same Best Western branded hotel, at a rate eligible for earning points or airline/partner rewards, with the exception of a stay booked through an online travel agency, a stay booked through a tour operator, or a stay booked at a special discounted rate (see Best Western Rewards® program rules for further information on eligibility criteria). Eligible stays must be completed at a Best Western branded hotel located in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean Islands.

Multiple check-in/check-out at the same property with less than 24 hours between check-out and check-in will only count as one eligible stay. Eligible stays which take place during the Promotion Period must be completed on or before September 7, 2020, to be counted towards the Promotion. Eligible stays which begin before the Promotion Period but have a check-out date that overlaps the beginning of the Promotion Period, will be counted towards the Promotion. Eligible stays which take place during the Promotion Period, but which have a check-out date that overlaps the end of the Promotion Period, will be counted towards the Promotion.

Can I use the $25 Gift Card on my first (current) qualifying stay?

No. Best Western Rewards members who have qualified for the promotion and have a valid email address in their account profile will receive a virtual (by email) $25 Gift Card within 1-2 weeks AFTER they have completed the qualified stay. The member must have a valid email address on file for participation and award delivery. The Gift Card will be available for use on a subsequent stay AFTER it is received.

How long does it take to receive the $25 Gift Card after I have completed my eligible stay?

Best Western Rewards members who have qualified for the promotion and have a valid email address in their account profile will receive a virtual (by email) $25 Gift Card within 1-2 weeks after they have completed the qualified stay. The member must have a valid email address on file for participation and award delivery.

Can the $25 Gift Card be used on any stay?

No. The Gift Card can only be used on stays booked via Best Western direct booking channels to include: BestWestern.com, directly with the property or by contacting Reservations 1(800) 780-7234. Gift Cards cannot be applied to pre-paid reservations.

Do Best Western Rewards members need to be REGISTERED for this promotion to be eligible to earn a $25 Gift Card?

Yes. Best Western Rewards members must be REGISTERED for the promotion PRIOR to their first eligible stay applied to the promotion to qualify for the $25 Gift Card.  Best Western Rewards members can register for the promotion online; by logging into their Best Western Rewards account profile and registering through their profile, or at the property front desk.

How many $25 Gift Cards can a Best Western Rewards members earn during the promotion period?

Each Best Western Rewards member can earn one (1) $25 Gift Card during the promotion period. Promotion is subject to cancellation or change without notice.

When does the $25 Gift Card expire?

December 31, 2020. Each $25 Gift Card will expire and must be used at a Best Western branded hotel by December 31, 2020. The expiration date will be stated on the delivered Gift Card.

What if I have a valid email address in my Best Western Rewards account profile but I prefer a plastic $25 Gift Card mailed to me?

No plastic cards will be distributed for this promotion.

Can all Best Western Rewards members participate?

No. Only Best Western Rewards members in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean Islands are eligible for this promotion. The ‘eligible stays’ can only occur at Best Western branded hotels in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean Islands. Once the $25 Best Western Gift Card is received, it can be redeemed at any Best Western branded hotel worldwide.

Why doesn’t Best Western automatically register all existing Best Western Rewards members into the seasonal promotions?

Asking customers to register for promotions engages them into our Best Western Rewards program and to our brand, and ensures that Best Western is in their travel considerations. It also helps us measure the effectiveness of our promotions allowing us to continue to promote some of the richest offers in the market today. We want you to have a choice.

Can the expiration date on the Gift Card be extended?

No. There are no extensions given on these promotional Gift Cards.

Here are the terms of this promotion:

Best Western Rewards® members*** (“Member(s)”) who (a) register for the Promotion (either on bestwestern.com/rewardsrush2 or as otherwise permitted (e.g., at the front desk of any Best Western® branded hotel)), (b) complete one (1) eligible stay* between June 22, 2020 and September 7, 2020 (“Promotion Period”) at any Best Western branded hotel in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean Islands, and (c) have a valid email address listed in the Member’s account profile at the time of registration for the Promotion, will earn one (1) promotional $25 USD/CAD** Best Western Travel Card® (“Travel Card”). There is a limit of one (1) $25 USD/CAD Travel Card per Member during the Promotion. Travel Card expires on December 31, 2020.

Promotion is subject to cancellation or change without notice. Promotion is non-transferable. Promotion registration and Best Western Rewards enrollment/membership required prior to the eligible stay applied to the Promotion. An eligible stay completed prior to Promotion registration and Best Western Rewards enrollment/membership will not count towards satisfying the Promotion requirements. Best Western Rewards enrollment may be completed by visiting bestwesternrewards.com.

Please allow approximately 1-2 weeks from completion of the eligible stay to receive the Travel Card. The Travel Card will be sent electronically to the Member’s email address (regardless of whether the Member has opted out of Best Western communications). The Travel Card will not be sent via mail or any other means other than to the Member’s email address as registered in the Member’s account profile. Promotional Travel Card expires on December 31, 2020. The expiration date will be stated on the Travel Card. No extensions, substitutions, or replacements available. The Travel Card cannot be used to pay for the eligible stay, during which the Member qualified to receive the Travel Card pursuant to this Promotion. The Travel Card can be used toward a subsequent stay after the Travel Card is received.
