Accor introduced several policies this spring to help Accor Live Limitless (ALL) members to keep their membership tier through the end of 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and supercharge elite qualification.
Two programs allow members to earn status easier this year, and also apply the nights and points consumed from July 1 – December 31 towards status requirements in 2021.
You can access Accor ALL here.
Here are three programs what you can benefit from this year:
1. Status Extension
Accor Live Limitless has extended all member tiers by a year through the end of 201.
2. Status Boost
Before ALL decided to extend everyone by a year, they gave members a status boost. Accor deposited to member accounts half of the nights and points (not redeemable) what would be required for your earned status this year.
3. Rollover Nights & Points
To get ALL members to stay this year, Accor then decided to roll over all the nights and status points earned between July 1 – December 31, 2020, also to 2021.
Here’s what you can do with these offers:
Your status earned in 2019 has already been extended until the end of 2021. If you would like to up it, now would be the perfect time because of:
1. Status Boost that gave you half of the nights and points for your current status for free
2. Rollover Nights & Points allow you to apply the nights and points you earn July 1 – December 31, 2020, to both 2021 and 2022 status
Had I been in Asia-Pacific more during the second half of 2020, getting the Diamond status for 2021 or 2022 wouldn’t have been an issue. I just cannot see myself spending the required amount of cash at Accor properties in Europe when my elite benefits at other chains are better.
This is, however, an excellent opportunity for many to get a higher status in 2021 or jump-start their elite qualification in 2021 by spending nights and cash at Accor affiliated hotels between July 1 – December 31.
