Marriott Bonvoy Free Night Certificate After Two Stays – Up To 25,000 Points (New Members)

Marriott Bonvoy (then Marriott Rewards) launched an offer way back in 2016 to drive new member sign-ups by offering them a free night certificate after two stays, and it is still on-going with no expiry insight.

Members that sign up for Bonvoy and complete two stays within four months (see the T&Cs after you have signed up) will get a free night certificate worth up to 25,000 points, which is valid for a year after issuance.

You can access Marriott Bonvoy here, and sign up offer here.

Note that the offer is valid for the month you sign up + the following four. If you sign in August 2020, you need to have the two stays by December 31, 2020.

You do need to sign up using the specific form because it has the promo code embedded that will activate the offer. This offer cannot be retroactively applied to existing accounts.

Conclusion

I have seen quite a few websites reporting this, falsely, as something brand new that Marriott would have just launched when, in fact, it is now on its FIFTH year.

Marriott had a programming error the other year when existing members were able to sign up for this (myself included) and earn a free night.

This is an excellent offer for new members. Just remember that you need to sign up using this specific link, and it cannot be applied to existing accounts.

Here are the terms and conditions of this offer:

  • This promotion is valid only for new members of the Marriott Bonvoy™ program.

  • Existing Marriott Bonvoy members are not eligible.

  • Make two paid stays between 7/26/2020 and 11/28/2020 at participating hotels during your earning period to receive a Free Night Award (worth up to 25,000 points)

  • Award must be redeemed within one year from the date of issue.
