Marriott Bonvoy Targeted Bonus Offer Emails For Stays Through November 30, 2020 Are Out

Marriott Bonvoy targeted offers took a break for half a year, but have now made a return, and emails to eligible members should have arrived.

There is also a new global promotion introduced the other week (read more here) that allows members to earn 2,500 bonus points for each stay consumed through October 18, 2020.

You can check your Marriott Bonvoy Promotion Central here.

We covered this offer week ago, but Marriott has today sent out emails to eligible members. If your’s didn’t arrive, you can always check what shows up for you on My Promotions on Marriott’s website.

There are traditionally several versions of the targeted offers, from bonus points to free night certificates.  These offers are always valid for the months you sign up + the following three. If you are eligible for this latest bonus and sign up in August, the earning period ends on November 30.

You can combine targeted offers with global and property-specific ones.

Here are offers that readers have reported:

  • Double points for weekend stays
  • 1,500 Bonus points for the first and 3,000 for the second stay
  • 2,000 Bonus points for the first and 3,000 for the second weekend stay
  • 7,500 Bonus points for the first and 15,000 for the second stay
  • Free night certificate (up to 35,000 points) after each stay – max two

The offer will appear in your My Promotions (none for me):

Remember to sign up for global promotion:

Conclusion

There is no rhyme who is eligible for these targeted bonuses, but I would assume that the most lucrative ones go for members who haven’t stayed with Marriott for a while. They try to reactivate members with offers such as the fantastic free night certificate after each stay.

Members have usually been targeted at least for one of these offers in a calendar year (sometimes more frequently).

They just took six months off due to the Covid-19 pandemic but returned last week. Let’s hope that there is another out soon.
